Materials

PLA

Starting at $5

Basic plastic. Very stiff. Not good for anything that needs some flex. Suitable for models and prototypes. Not suitable for outdoors or in vehicles.

CF-PETG

Starting at $15

Hard plastic. High temperature melting point. Suitable for outdoors and in vehicles or anything mechanical. Has better wear resistance than PLA. Addition of carbon fibers into the plastic makes it super strong and is a great option for functional parts that will take a beating. I printed a go-kart rim out of this material and did doughnuts with it.

PETG

Starting at $10

Hard plastic. High temperature melting point. Suitable for outdoors and in vehicles or anything mechanical. Has better wear resistance than PLA.

CF-PA12

Starting at $20

Carbon fiber reinforced Nylon. Similar to CF-PETG, this material is nylon with carbon fibers in it. This is the strongest, toughest plastic I can print. It is hard to describe just how tough this stuff is.
